Korean Actress Faces Real Life Issue After Getting 7 Plastic Surgeries

A Korean actress encountered an awkward situation as a result of her seven plastic surgeries.

On August 20th, a video titled “The Legend of 200 Billion Won Daily Sales? I Met the No. 1 Chinese Influencer!” was uploaded on YouTube.

The video showed actress Kang Ye Won traveling to Hangzhou, China, for a business trip to launch the cosmetics brand she created in the Chinese market.

Although she said, “I was very excited to set foot on Chinese soil for the first time in 16 years,” she faced an unexpected obstacle during immigration. The automatic immigration system failed to recognize her because the old photo in her passport did not match her current face.

Kang Ye Won said, “The passport photo is old, so the automatic system couldn’t recognize me,” adding, “It’s ridiculous. I think I have to retake my photo and get a new passport.”

She continued, “They think my old face and current face are different,” then humorously added, “It’s my fault, so I can’t blame anyone,” bringing laughter.

She then revealed the photo in her passport, asking, “Is it very different?” and admitted, “My eyes look a little different,” which caused more laughter as she compared it to her current appearance.

It turned out this was not the first time she experienced this. Kang Ye Won explained, “Last time when I went to Japan, the automatic recognition didn’t work either. But I was really embarrassed that it didn’t work this time in China as well.” She then revealed that she immediately went to the district office to get her passport reissued.

Kang Ye Won recently surprised many by candidly answering a question about the number of times she had eye surgery on her YouTube channel, saying, “I had my eyes done several times. I don’t remember exactly, but I think about seven times.“
