A Korean singer is seemingly facing financial difficulties stemming from an alleged affair
In April 2026, Civil Division 7 of the Seongnam Branch of Suwon District Court held the first hearing in a damages claim lawsuit filed by Mrs. A, the wife of a married man, against singer Sook Haeng.
On September 18, the YouTube channel Respect Lee Jin Ho uploaded a video titled, “Sook Haeng Loses ₩30 Million in Affair Lawsuit… Why the Wife Was Even More Shocked on the Verdict Day.”
In the video, Lee Jin Ho discussed Sook Haeng’s reported financial situation following the lawsuit. Sook Haeng reportedly moved out of her previous residence and removed all of her belongings, adding that, according to Sook Haeng’s side, she is currently struggling financially and “living day by day.”
Sook Haeng shared an apology as seen above.
Sook Haeng was previously sued by Mrs. A, B‘s wife, over her alleged inappropriate relationship with Mr. B, who is married. A originally sought ₩100 million KRW (about $72,100 USD) in damages, but the court ordered Sook Haeng to pay ₩30.0 million KRW (about $21,600 USD) in emotional damages, plus delayed-payment interest.
Sook Haeng’s side maintained that she had dated B because he had told her he had already agreed to divorce his wife and had settled matters regarding alimony and the division of property.
Sook Haeng first gained recognition by finishing sixth in TV Chosun‘s Miss Trot in 2019. She appeared in MBN‘s Active Singer King 3 last December but has since halted activities and withdrawn.
