The performance was what made the outfits “dangerous.”
LE SSERAFIM‘s recent performance has sparked backlash involving their outfits.

On June 20, the Seoul Music Awards 2026 took place, honoring a year of music. Numerous artists attended the show, with many taking home awards during the night.

LE SSERAFIM were also in attendance, taking home awards for “World Best Artist Award,” “Best Digital Song,” and a Bonsang. The group also took the stage, performing “Spaghetti” and “Boompala.”

During “Spaghetti,” the group begin the song with floor work, including a moment where their legs are spread. In most performances of the song, the group are wearing outfits that allow for this, featuring cover-ups or longer safety shorts.
However, during this performance, several members were wearing shorter than usual outfits for this specific song. During the live broadcast, the focus was placed on Yunjin’s face, so this dance move was not seen in full.
After, though, fancams of the members surfaced, resulting in a overly slowed down and sexualized clip being created and going viral, including some videos from another performance.

Many reactions were criticism of outfits being put on the group despite the choreography including moves like that. Others were critical of the OP and those who bookmarked the clip, finding the focus placed on an already risky move.
이래서 이 안무 싫다고 짧은바지 입히면 어쩌자는거야

This is exactly why I hate this choreography. What’s the point of making them wear such short shorts?

안타깝다 저런 안무를 시키는 개저씨들이나 하란다고 하는 어린여자들이나 에휴

It’s sad. Whether it’s the creepy old men who make them do choreography like that, or the young girls who just do it because they’re told to… sigh.
