Former T-ARA member and actress Ryu Hwayoung has taken her romance to another level.
On July 3, Hwayoung appeared at a festival as DJ Hwayoung, performing a set while dressed in an outfit resembling a wedding dress.
At one point during the event, Hwayoung’s fiancé came out on stage, with the idol explaining that he was her “one-day manager.” After introducing him, the idol dropped to one knee with a bouquet of flowers, “proposing” to him and thanking him for marrying her.
Earlier this year, Ryu announced her engagement on social media, describing her fiancé as dependable and caring. Recently, she also shared a photoshoot with her future husband, revealing his face for the first time.
Ryu Hwayoung originally debuted as a member of T-ARA in 2010 before later leaving the group to pursue an acting career.
Since then, she has appeared in dramas including Mad Dog and The Beauty Inside. The couple will be married in September 2026, and seem to be greatly anticipating it.
