Legendary Visual Idol Addresses Harsh Criticism Over His “Unrecognizable” Weight Gain

Recently, the visuals of 2PM‘s Nichkhun became a topic of discussion.

Following his appearance on a show, Nichkhun’s weight gain and physical changes were discussed amongst netizens, with many expressing harsh opinions. The idol did appear to have gained weight from his previous visuals and to have a generally more mature appearance.

Recently, the idol spoke about the talk surrounding his appearance, giving his real thoughts about the situation.

On June 11, a new vlog-style video featuring Nichkhun was posted, showing the idol in Thailand for an event.

While sitting down for a meal, Nichkhun discussed his appearance maintenance, sharing that he had lost weight. One of the shows PDs mentioned that the team for 2PM’s variety show kept apologizing in reference to the discussions around his appearance.

Nichkhun brushed off the thought, saying that it was “on him” and that he did it on purpose. He added that he was not trying to look good for the camera, saying that was why he “looked kind of rough on camera.”

He added that he thought it was funny and he can always lose weight again, while appreciating that fans were kind about the situation.

Physical changes are a natural part of growing older, and Nichkhun is gracefully embracing them while looking handsome.
