…through rock paper scissors.
NCT member Yuta recently opened up about his frightening experiences with sasaeng fans during his appearance on Naokiman Show’s Urban Legend Wide Show Season 3.
While discussing scary real-life experiences, Yuta recalled the intense situations he and the NCT members faced while living together in their dorms. According to Yuta, around 30 sasaeng fans would constantly monitor the dorm and share the members’ movements with each other in real time.

He claimed that when he used to live at the dorm with the members, about 30 sasaengs would keep watch. If one of the members went somewhere, they would contact each other and follow the members. He also revealed that the members would sometimes play rock-paper-scissors to decide who would act as “bait” to distract the sasaengs while the others escaped. They would play rock-paper-scissors and the loser had to be the bait.

Yuta explained that the situation became even harder once electric scooters became popular, as sasaengs began chasing the members using them. The idol shared that they would sometimes hide in side alleys trying to escape, only for the sasaengs to casually pass by as if nothing was unusual.
Fans reacted with shock and concern after hearing the story, criticizing the dangerous behavior sasaeng fans continue to display toward idols.
