Popular Actor Chokes Up Over Debuting Too Early

A popular actor became emotional with regret about the past while enjoying leisure time at the Han River.

On October 12th, a video titled “Ended the day with a sashimi picnic at the Han River with daytime drinking” was posted on YouTube.

In the video, Ahn Jae Hyun bought sashimi in Noryangjin to do the trendy ‘sashimi picnic’ and headed to the Han River Park.

At this time, Ahn Jae Hyun was seen warmly interacting without formality, chatting kindly with fans who were picnicking next to him and sharing food, drawing attention.

Only after taking care of those around him did Ahn Jae Hyun sit down and relax. The crew then asked him, “Don’t you like this kind of leisure?” and Ahn Jae Hyun said, “It’s amazing that this exists in Seoul.”

The crew asked, “Since you are famous, there must be many things you couldn’t do.” Ahn Jae Hyun replied, “I debuted too early,” and added, “But I think that might actually be better,” as he briefly reflected.

Then Ahn Jae Hyun said, “Why do I feel like crying?” and “Maybe because the sunset is so beautiful,” showing genuine emotion. He continued, “I became independent and started working early, so this kind of culture feels unfamiliar to me,” and admitted, “I can’t do this unless it’s during filming,” expressing a loneliness that hinted at underlying solitude.

Ahn Jae Hyun debuted as a model in 2009, then transitioned into acting and continued his work, also making his mark in variety shows by establishing his own character.

During this period, Ahn Jae Hyun married fellow actor Koo Hye Sun in 2016, but they divorced in 2020.
