Popular Actor’s Affair With Fan Scandal Escalates After 77 Phone Calls Get Exposed

New details have emerged in the controversy surrounding actor Hwang Jung Min and the woman who accused him of having a personal relationship with her.

After the initial allegations went viral, Hwang’s side claimed the woman was a stalker.

According to a report from TenAsia, phone records indicate that Hwang Jung Min and Person A exchanged 77 phone calls over about one year, from May 2024 to May 2025.

But what stood out the most was that the records claim Hwang was listed as the caller 62 times out of the 77.

The calls continued even after February 2024, when Hwang claimed in his complaint that the woman had stalked him and his son. Because the two continued communicating during periods Hwang identified as part of the alleged stalking, the nature of their relationship has now become a key point of dispute.

Hwang identified several periods as alleged stalking incidents, including February 10, 2024; May 4–5, 2025; May 13–15, 2025; and July 31, 2025. However, phone records indicate that the two communicated during some of these periods.

The phone records show that the two spoke 34 times between May and December 2024. Out of those calls, 33 were reportedly initiated by Hwang. One conversation in December lasted around 50 minutes.

In 2025, the pair reportedly had 43 calls between January and May. Hwang was listed as the caller for 29 of those conversations. In May alone, the two spoke 15 times, with seven calls from Hwang and eight from the woman. One call reportedly lasted around 56 minutes.

The woman stated that their communication ended on May 14, 2025. Around three months later, on August 14, Hwang filed a complaint accusing her of stalking.

Additional recordings have also reportedly been submitted as part of the dispute. In one recording from September 2024, Hwang allegedly told the woman, “I talk to you on the phone, we talk, and we even argue,” suggesting that their relationship was different from his relationships with other acquaintances.

Another recording from December reportedly includes comments such as, “This is a situation where my phone can’t be discovered,” and “I’ve been seeing another man.”

Hwang’s agency, S.A.M Company, denied that the relationship was romantic and stated that the communication was part of an effort to stop the alleged stalking.
