Popular K-Drama Actors To Become In-Laws In Real Life After Proposing To Sisters

In an unexpected connection, actors Jang Dong Yoon and Lee You Jin are set to become family after it was revealed that their respective brides-to-be are biological sisters.

According to reports on October 6, Jang Dong Yoon’s fiancée, actress Kim Seung Yoon, and Lee You Jin’s fiancée, actress Cha Kyung Eun, are sisters.

Cha Kyung Eun’s real name is reportedly Kim Kyung Eun. The actresses are said to be two of three sisters, with Kim Seung Yoon being the eldest and Cha Kyung Eun the second. As a result, Jang Dong Yoon and Lee You Jin will also officially become brothers-in-law through their marriages.

Even more surprisingly, both weddings are happening just around a month apart. Jang Dong Yoon and Kim Seung Yoon are set to marry first on October 10. The couple reportedly plans to hold a quiet, private wedding in the form of a religious service attended primarily by their families.

The actors have known each other professionally for years, having both appeared in the 2019 drama The Tale of Nokdu. They later worked together again on projects directed by Jang Dong Yoon, including Be My Ears and his first feature-length directorial project, Nuruk.

Their relationship remained out of the public eye, with the pair never publicly announcing that they were dating before news of their marriage emerged.

Then, just over a month later, Kim Seung Yoon’s younger sister Cha Kyung Eun will walk down the aisle herself. Cha Kyung Eun is marrying actor and director Lee You Jin on November 14, and their relationship followed a dramatically faster timeline.

The two met through Lee You Jin’s directorial debut Cast Me If You Can See the Way!. Lee You Jin reportedly fell for Cha Kyung Eun at first sight while preparing for the production, with Cha Kyung Eun also developing feelings for him.

After filming concluded, Lee You Jin actively pursued her, and the two officially began dating with marriage in mind in June. Just around five months later, they will become husband and wife.

The family connection has made the two already-surprising marriage announcements even more remarkable. Two actress sisters are marrying two actors within weeks of each other, turning Jang Dong Yoon and Lee You Jin into members of the same extended family.

With Jang Dong Yoon and Kim Seung Yoon marrying on October 10, followed by Lee You Jin and Cha Kyung Eun on November 14, the entertainment industry will soon have one particularly star-studded new family.
