Popular NCT Member Gets Called Out For Alleged Attitude Problems

NCT Wish‘s Yushi is currently facing major criticism on online communities. A viral post claimed that “his personality is too unique to be an idol.” While uniqueness can be positive for some, in this case, netizens call out his uncommon responses to the situations that idols are put in.

One such example was his reaction to a fan at a fansign. The fan had asked him some questions, to which he simply provided blunt and short responses.

Fan: “What a failed fansign. I really just got an autograph and came home.

Me: If you were a fan, who’s fansign would you want to go for?

Yushi: None.

Me: Then, what’s your favorite song at the noraebang?

Yushi: I don’t really go…

Me: Please write a PS.

Yushi: What’s a PS?”

The fan claimed that Yushi definitely knew what a PS was.

During a videocall with another fan, a fan had went to the beach specially to have their call, so that they could show Yushi the sea. At Yushi’s lukewarm response, the fan asked if he didn’t like the sea, to which he confirmed with a “yes.”

During another occasion, a fan tried to be friendly with him, only to receive short replies.

“Me: I heard that in Japan, if it’s not family or someone close to you, they normally call each other by their last names. Since we’re kinda awkward with each other, should I call Yushi by Tokuno instead?

Yushi: (After thinking for a long time) Yes.

Me: What? Okay, then how can I get closer to you?

Yushi: …I don’t know.”

In another fansign, a fan asked Yushi to draw her as a vegetable. He drew a brocoli on her album and started laughing to himself allegedly. Later, fans realized that in an interview, he stated that he once hated brocoli.

Another time, a fan asked Yushi to “come to Weverse often as it was also a part of the job.” Yushi replied with a simple “lol.”

As the various instances were all laid out in a post, netizens began to question why fans were into him.

• What’s his charm?
• Because fans still like him even if he acts like that LOL.
• It’s FR just fans complaining but they still love him… Even if they’re treated like that, they’ll still like him.
• Honestly, his personality is rather unique…

This is not the first controversy he’s been in. Recently, Yushi was called out for his alleged ancestor being a general during the occupation of South Korea by Japan. The allegations currently have yet to be confirmed despite Yushi’s last name and background coinciding with the mentioned general.
