Most recently, WayV’s Xiaojun shared his frightening encounter with sasaengs taking over his personal accounts.

He revealed that he had never linked his personal information to any accounts, yet still found an unknown number when he opened his airline app.

I was pretty horrified. It felt like… you live alone, go to sleep, and wake up the next day to go to work. When you look at your surveillance camera footage, you see someone else living in your home. God knows what else they’ve done with my information, and if they made money off of it? This is boldly committing a crime.

Fans were furious that more and more artists were confessing to these experiences and bashed the company for not taking any action.

I don’t think ppl realize how crazy this is…if someone linked his id to their own personal number, that means this person likely has access to his existing flight plans, seat assignments, and any sort of updates or cancellations.
