An SM Entertainment idol sparked attention by revealing a story about being scouted by a host bar during his trainee days.
On July 17th, the latest episode of ZIP DAESUNG, hosted by BIGBANG‘s Daesung, was released. In the video, Super Junior members Leeteuk and Heechul appeared and shared memories from before their debut.
Leeteuk recalled his trainee days, saying, “I was very close with Heechul. When we went to nightclubs, he always asked me to go with him.”
Heechul, recalling the time, said, “Near Cheongdam intersection, someone rolled down their car window and gave me a golden business card, saying ‘Contact me sometime.’ But the card didn’t have the name of the place on it.”
He added, “When I got home, I found out it was a host bar’s business card,” surprising everyone.
Leeteuk also vividly recalled the situation, saying, “They had a way of enticing us. They said, ‘If you work here, you can buy an entire building.’ So Heechul and I joked that if we didn’t debut, we’d join hands and go there.”
Heechul joked, “If I hadn’t debuted and went that route, I might have had more money than I do now.”
