May she rest in peace.
Yamada Ria, who appeared on the popular show Street Girl Dance Fighter 2, has passed away.

The sad news was announced on her Instagram account in a post from her family, explaining more about her illness and her strength.
Ria previously announced that she was dealing with an autoimmune disease that would require a bone marrow transplant and chemotherapy. This was the first post made in more than a year following Ria sharing that she was admitted to the hospital in July 2025.

Ria began her training at six years old and was signed by the time she was 13. She rose to prominence after winning 1st place on Mnet’s Street Dance Girls Fighter 2, where she competed as a soloist and was chosen by the Jam Republic mentor team.
After the win, Ria made appearances both as a soloist and a member of Baby Jam before her hospitalization.
May she rest in peace.
