T.O.P Apologizes To Fans Amid Recent Controversy

T.O.P, former member of the group BIGBANG, has finally bowed his head in apology.

On November 1st, T.O.P issued an apology statement directly on his account. He expressed gratitude regarding fan site CHOIDOT, which had supported him for 20 years, saying, “Even at moments when I myself found it hard to believe in me, you believed in me and always gave me warm hearts and precious support, which gave me the strength to make music again. I will never forget the sincere feelings of the fans for the rest of my life.”

T.O.P continued, “Thanks to the great love you sent me, I have come this far. The CHOIDOT staff have shown devoted love for the longest time, more than anyone else, and have been a big pillar of support. I hope that their time, effort, and sincerity will not be overshadowed by misunderstandings and speculations but will remain in their full meaning. I also hope that the precious years we spent together will not be left as misunderstandings or wounds to each other.”

He added, “I know the interest and love you send are never something to be taken for granted, so I will carry lifelong gratitude deep in my heart. I sincerely apologize to the staff and fans who were hurt and misunderstood.”

CHOIDOT was T.O.P’s fan site, operating since August 24, 2006. However, it ceased operations on October 9. The reason for the closure was T.O.P and his agency’s evasion of responsibility and neglect of fans.
