“The Return Of Superman” Choo Sarang Makes Heartfelt Confession To Her Mom

14-year-old Choo Sarang, entering puberty, made a heartfelt confession to her mother, Yano Shiho.

On July 16th, the KBS 2TV variety program Fun-Staurant aired an episode where Yano Shiho planned a special event for her daughter Sarang, who is going through puberty.

Experiencing emotional ups and downs, Sarang expressed her feelings toward her mother in an interview with the production team, which moved Yano Shiho to tears upon hearing it.

That day, Yano Shiho prepared a “puberty party” for her daughter. The party, designed to turn this transitional period into a positive experience, brought a smile to Sarang’s face.

During the event, Sarang’s impressive physique was revealed—despite being only 14, she stands 172 cm tall and weighs 48.75 kg, clearly inheriting her mother’s top model DNA, surprising everyone.

The two continued their conversation by cooking together. Sarang even lied down on the floor as if exhausted but soon smiled again thanks to her mother’s efforts. During the cooking, Yano Shiho shared a simple recipe using kimchi and egg fried rice. Her husband, Choo Sung Hoon, connected via video call, joked, “It looks unappetizing,” drawing laughter.

To better understand her daughter’s feelings, the production team conducted a “Mom domain evaluation.” Sarang candidly said, “I want to inherit my mom’s energy,” and, “Even though mom and dad are often away from home, I’m happy because our whole family is happy.” She described Yano Shiho as “a mom who’s like a friend” and rated her mom a perfect 100 points.

Sarang tearfully apologized, “Lately, since I’m going through puberty, I cause my mom a lot of trouble. But I truly respect her. My role model is mom.” She added, “Mom is strong, kind, and always sincerely faces me. I want to become like her. I love you, Mom.” Watching her daughter’s confession on screen, Yano Shiho tearfully said, “Sarang is often alone. I’m really sorry and thankful.”
