On April 26, the actress attended a brand event in Shanghai. While she sported a black, loose-fitting outfit, her protruding belly was clearly visible. According to witnesses, Tang Wei was seen moving with extreme caution throughout the event and was closely assisted by her staff.

This public appearance led top Chinese news outlets to infer that the actress was certainly pregnant. An insider also reportedly confirmed that she is expecting her second child.

Soon after these speculations made headlines, on April 29, the actress officially confirmed through social media that she was indeed expecting her second child.

Tang Wei has been married to South Korean director Kim Tae Yong for over a decade, and the couple has a 10-year-old daughter.
