Top Boy Group Idol’s Sister Accused Of Bullying And Assault

Beloved second-generation K-Pop idol Kim Jaejoong has found himself in the middle of a serious controversy after accusations were levied against his sister for bullying and assaulting a woman in the Philippines.

Recently, multiple posts have appeared on social media naming Jaejoong’s sister, Jessica Young, claiming that she bullied a Taiwanese woman and her child. According to one account, the incident occurred at a language school in the Philippines, named Coco English. Young allegedly asked a three-year-old Taiwanese child to get out of the classroom, and the school staff carried the child out of there.

Young also allegedly physically harassed the child’s mother, repeatedly bumping into her with her body and bag, calling her a “bitch.” She also stands accused of beating the woman brutally afterward.

One netizen claimed that the incident was racially motivated. Since the school is allegedly run by Koreans, when the police were called to the scene, the staff all lied and sided with Young.

Initially, netizens only posted about the alleged assailant’s identity on social media, including pictures of her at the same school taken on the same day, wearing the same dress as mentioned in witness accounts. Eventually, it was revealed that Young was Jaejoong’s sister.

Though the controversy has gained more attention due to Jaejoong’s name being entangled in it, netizens’ criticism remains directed at his sister. Many are calling it a systemic and racially motivated issue, citing multiple instances of Korean individuals allegedly bullying Taiwanese people at language schools.
