In the recently released video, Lee Seung Gi unexpectedly visited his alma mater, Sanggye High School, and sat down with his juniors. On that day, a student asked, “When you become famous, you must get a lot of malicious comments. How did you endure them?”

Lee Seung Gi replied, “It used to hurt a lot back then. It still hurts, of course.” He added, “When someone says bad things to me, it naturally hurts. That’s not something you get used to.”

He continued, “You just accept it and live with it. If I really did something wrong, then I should reflect on it. But if I didn’t do anything wrong and for some reason people say those things, you have to learn to let it go.”

He also explained why you need to let it go. Lee Seung Gi said, “Thinking about things that make you very angry is not good for me. It ruins your day.” He added, “Everyone experiences things like this in life. I just get more of it because I’m more famous. These things don’t only happen to famous people.”

Finally, he encouraged his juniors by saying, “I hope you become stronger and handle such things with resilience.”
