4th Gen Group’s Tearful First Win — First Encore Since Debut Goes Viral

Many groups attended the weekly music show on the June 11 episode of M!Countdown and performed their recent comebacks. The two nominees for the episode were aespa for “Lemonade” and TREASURE for “IF I.”

aespa initially led with a higher score in the first category, but TREASURE scored higher across the other four, taking home the win with a score of 6328.

This marked the group’s first win for this comeback, and their first ever on M!Countdown. The win was made even more special as member Junghwan is an MC for the show and was able to give the award.

TREASURE were very emotional, with Junghwan letting out a yell before joining the group hug. As the members gave their speeches, the depth of their emotions could be felt, with Haruto appearing to be teary-eyed.

This is also the first time the group have done a live encore on a music show, and the video reposted on X quickly went viral with over 1 million views.
