Male Singer Pulls An All-Nighter, Cries On Stage After Fans Complain

A new concert tour kicked off with problems that have frustrated fans and left the star of the show in tears.

Jordan Chan, a Hong Kong actor, singer, and dancer, is currently on his BIG MAN tour in Beijing. After audience members complained about a less than magical experience at his show, he spent the night making changes to the stage setup.

The first performance took place on June 20, and concertgoers were not happy with their obstructed views of the show, pointing to a large pink structure placed at the center of the stage that allegedly blocked their view. Reports state that fans who had paid 1,288 yuan (about $186 USD) for the highest-priced tickets said they were left watching much of the show from behind Jordan’s head, while some attendees were reportedly heard asking for refunds.

Instead of dismissing the criticism, Jordan and his production team immediately began addressing the concerns after the concert. They removed structures that were causing visibility issues, expanded the screen displays, offered alternative seating to affected audience members, and adjusted Jordan’s movements on stage to improve viewing angles for more fans. He also personally supervised the overnight modifications.

During the second night’s show, Jordan became emotional while speaking about the controversy and was seen tearing up on stage. Fighting back tears, he said, “I’ve read all your comments and suggestions. If you’re not satisfied, I’ll continue to improve. We will definitely do better with every show. If I’m unhappy, I’ll bear it myself. You came to the concert, so as long as you’re happy, that’s enough.”

His sincere apology resonated with fans, who reportedly commended him for responding quickly to the feedback and taking responsibility for the situation. His wife, actress Cherrie Ying, also lightened the mood with this playful remark; “Big Man read too many reviews and ended up crying so badly today. It’s good he listened to advice — otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to see him either.”
