The rumors were alleged to be about Dylan Wang, who rose to fame with his debut role in Meteor Garden. The phrase “Exposing Wang He Di having injected hyaluronic acid in his genitals, causing blockage” topped Weibo search trends.

The source of the rumors appeared to be group chats that claimed to offer the star’s medical information for free. A video allegedly showing the procedure was included in these rumors.

The hospital involved in the rumors also released a statement confirming that Dylan Wang had no connection and that it, too, might seek legal action over the allegations.
