KATSEYE’s Daniela Gets Confronted About Manon, Sparks Heated Reactions

KATSEYE member Daniela has landed herself in the middle of a fiery debate after addressing her groupmate Manon’s ongoing indefinite hiatus.

Recently, Daniela attended the Louis Vuitton fashion show at the Paris Fashion Week with Yoonchae, turning heads in a blue metallic look from the brand’s Cruise 2027 collection by designer Nicolas Ghesquière.

While leaving the event, both singers briefly interacted with fans outside the venue, signing autographs and talking to them. One fan took the opportunity to ask Daniela about Manon and why she wasn’t part of the group anymore. Daniela’s face appeared to drop a little as she answered, “I miss her so much. I wish her the best.” She left her answer at that and went ahead to sign something for another fan.

This brief acknowledgment has drawn a heavily divided response from fans, and expectedly so. Ever since Manon’s hiatus, Daniela has gotten embroiled in multiple controversies, starting from her father’s berating remarks about Manon on social media, to accusations of her trying to “replace” Manon.

While on the one hand, many fans were touched to see Daniela’s reaction to Manon’s name being mentioned, others felt that it was just her “media training.”

Lol her saying “l miss her so much” is proof they aint close lmfao. She’s literally just on a hiatus from grouo activities. She’s not completely banned from being in their presence. She would have said “she’d doing well, hope she comes back” if they were cool 💀

the way her face fell real quick at the mention of manon lmao dani ain’t fooling anyone. you never missed her and you sure as hell do not wish her well otherwise you would have defended her when your parents continue to be racist towards your so-called sister #notfooled pic.twitter.com/2uDIffX8Bo

Meanwhile, Manon went on a hiatus from all KATSYE-related activities back in February quite abruptly, with her and her label releasing conflicting statements about the reason. Fans have since been kept completely in the dark about why the hiatus was deemed necessary and whether she will return to KATSEYE.
