“Agent Kim Reactivated” Actress Reveals Insane Diet Habits, Leaves Fellow Actress Concerned

Former Apink member-turned actress Son Na Eun recently revealed the extremely rigid dieting habits that she has carried with her since her debut.

Recently, the actress appeared as a guest on actress Ha Ji Young’s YouTube channel, sharing stories from her career. In the video, the host and the guest head to a convenience store while chatting. Ha Ji Young remarked that she was going to treat it as her cheat day and buy whatever she felt like, since usually she doesn’t eat ramen or rice.

Son Na Eun sympathized with the host’s restrictive eating regimen, revealing that she, too, had hardly enjoyed ramen ever since debuting in the industry in 2011. The actress confessed, “Since my debut, I’ve never cooked and eaten a whole pack of ramen by myself, nor have I ever finished an entire cup of instant ramen.”

When Ha Ji Young asked her about the reason, the actress explained that she always felt guilty about eating ramen, so even if she craved it, she would simply take one bite with her chopstick.

However, Na Eun admitted that while shooting her latest project, Agent Kim: Reactivated, she had serious cravings for ramen, given the freezing temperature and the demanding action scenes. So, she finally ate a large portion of ramen at a convenience store for the first time.

The actress admitted that she was “really hard” on herself, having developed a certain self-discipline as an idol. However, Ha Ji Young expressed concern at her confession, reasoning that pushing oneself too hard might lead to a burn out.
