Former BIGBANG member Seungri is facing another police investigation after a man in his 30s filed a complaint accusing him of assault.
According to an exclusive report from News1, a man in his thirties has reported Seungri to the Gangnam Police Station back on August 26 for aggravated assault, claiming Seungri assaulted him at a restaurant. Seungri has since given his side of the story, claiming that no assault took place and that he and the victim actually corresponded after the alleged incident.
Seungri Addresses Assault Allegations, Faces Massive Flak
On September 23, JTBC released a report about the incident, which included CCTV footage from the restaurant. Footage shows Seungri interacting with the victim, picking up a bottle as mentioned in the initial report, being held back by the individuals with him, and kicking towards something.
The man allegedly assaulted by Seungri also claimed that he was threatened.
