TWICE Jihyo’s Worrying Actions Resurface Amid Contract News

TWICE Jihyo‘s actions at a recent event have surfaced amid contract renewal talk.

TWICE have established themselves as one of the longest-lasting K-Pop girl groups in the industry. The group have survived the seven-year curse, renewing their contracts after the initial period ended in 2022.

Recently, however, it was reported that the girl group was under discussion with JYP Entertainment about their contracts.  JYP Entertainment stated that negotiations are currently underway and that nothing has been decided yet.

Alongside these official statements, speculation that Jeongyeon would leave JYP to sign to an acting label has also surfaced.

…including Jihyo’s actions at a past show has resurfacing.

During the last song of the April 28th concert in Tokyo, Jihyo was seen crying on stage during the concert’s final moments. The idol was comforted by Jeongyeon, who hugged her and helped wipe her tears, later saying that they were happy tears.

With the recent discussions and the clip of Jihyo resurfacing, some fans have expressed fears over TWICE’s future, with a particular post going viral.

TWICE
